python3-pip software package provides alternative Python package installer - Python 3 version of the package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-pip
python3-pip is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-pip package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-pip *
You will get with python3-pip package name, version, architecture and description in a table
